Coldplay have announced a tour of Asia and Australia kicking off this November.
Announced today (May 9), the tour was confirmed via social media, and follows several days of teases through digital billboards as posted online by Live Nation.
Coldplay’s Asia tour will begin in Tokyo, Japan on November 6 and 7 at the Tokyo dome, before the band take over the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan on November 11th. Elsewhere in the tour, Coldplay will perform at the Optus Stadium in Perth, the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia and the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Founded in 1997, Coldplay has become one of the most prominent musical acts to hail from the United Kingdom during the turn of the millennium, boasting 100 million album sales internationally. Their lineup consists of lead vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey.
LiveNation explained that an exclusive tickets presale for CIMB bank cardholders will begin next Tuesday on 16 May 2023, from between 10:00AM to 11:59PM.
On the other hand, general ticket sales will begin a day after that, on 17 May 2023 from 10:00AM onwards.

KUALA LUMPUR: Coldplay is finally coming to Malaysia!
The British rock band, known for their hits such as "Viva La Vida" and "Fix You", will be performing in Kuala Lumpur as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023.
The concert is scheduled to take place on 22 November 2023 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
The band confirmed the dates in an Instagram post. They will play in Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Jakarta and Perth before coming to Kuala Lumpur.
