DAP leaders today publicly apologized to the Government and the people of Sarawak.
Its Secretary General, Anthony Loke Siew Fook conveyed the matter when he visited the Premier of Sarawak, Tan Sri Abang Johari Abang Openg in Kuching, on Thursday.
"We have had a friendly discussion, I have informed the Premier (Abang Johari) that if there is any statement made by any DAP leader that offends the government and the people of Sarawak, I represent the DAP side to publicly apologize .
"I hope today's meeting will open a new chapter to build understanding and cooperation for the sake of a more developed and progressive Malaysia," he said in a statement on Thursday.
