KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 -- Police are looking for three local men to assist investigations related to the organisation of online gambling in Subang Jaya and nearby districts, believed to have been operating since nine months ago.
Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Abd Khalid Othman in a statement here today said they are Chia Wee Keat, 31 or Datuk Wk, whose last known address is in Jalan Kantan 14, Ambang Botanic, Bandar Botanic, Klang.
The two other are Kuek Vijin, 30 or Vijin, and Kuek Vegen, 26 or Vegen. Their last known address is in Lorong Batu Nilam 20c, Bandar Bukit TInggi 2, Klang.
Abd Khalid said police are seeking these men to assist investigations in connection to online gambling cases under Section 4(1)(a), 4(1)(c) and 4(1)(g) of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953.
On Dec 31, police had arrested 15 individuals at a luxury condominium in Subang Jaya on suspicion of being involved with an online gambling syndicate.
