Bukit Aman announces transfers involving 20 senior police officers

KUALA LUMPUR: The head of Bukit Aman’s Integrity and Standard Compliance Department Asri Yusoff and Inspector-General of Police (IGP) secretariat head Zamri Yahya are among 20 senior police officers involved in transfers next month.
Bukit Aman spokesman Asmawati Ahmad said all the transfers would take effect from Aug 6.
Asri takes over as Bukit Aman management director while Zamri takes over from Asri.
Mohd Roze Shaari, who is from Bukit Aman’s management division will be made deputy director of the Crime Investigation Department’s forensic, databank DNA/strategic planning unit.
Roze is replaced by Melaka police chief Jalil Hassan.
Replacing Jalil as Melaka police chief is CID forensic, databank DNA/strategic planning deputy director Raja Shahrom Raja Abdullah.
Meanwhile the secretary of the IGP secretariat Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf will take over as head at the IGP’s office.
Kuala Lumpur PDRM College management science studies centre head Muhammed Hasbullah Ali takes over as Sarawak crime prevention and community security head from Shafie Ismail, who takes over Hasbullah’s post.
Petaling Jaya police chief Mohd Zani Che Din swaps with Bukit Aman crime prevention and community safety department’s motorcycle patrol unit/e sector, ground operations division assistant Mohd Soaihami Rahim.
Others in the transfers are Bukit Aman integrity and standard compliance (wellness/organisation) department assistant director Habibi Majinji, who will be made Kota Kinabalu police chief, replacing M Chandrasehkaran, who takes over as Sabah strategic resource and technology head.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur crime prevention and community safety department community policing head Noor Azmi Yusoff is the new Wangsa Maju district police chief.
