Enthusiastic Wanita Umno team campaigns in Kota Kemuning, only to realise mistake later

KLANG: What do you do when you realise that you have crossed the constituency border while doing your by-election campaign rounds? Just keep on campaigning anyway, as in the case of a Wanita Umno election machinery from the Gombak division.
“We visited a house and explained the importance of supporting Barisan Nasional (BN) to the family members who enthusiastically listened to our arguments.
“When we asked them to vote for BN, the house owner explained that his family were Kota Kemuning constituents, and not Sungai Kandis.
“We also came across BN supporters from Sijangkang state constituency who has been bedridden and is in dire need of help. “We hope that the Selangor government does not practise favouritism in extending assistance to the people,” said the group’s spokesman, who wished to remain anonymous, when met at Umno operations room in Kampung Seri Nadi.
On the voters’ response gathered throughout the campaign, she said there were Pas followers who had voiced their support for BN. Surprisingly, she said, there were also BN supporters who had switched to PKR
