Multiple gunshots heard in mall in Damansara Jaya (updated)

PETALING JAYA: Multiple gunshots have been heard at the Atria Shopping Gallery in Damansara Jaya here .
A witness, Sharmila Ganapathy, said she heard the shots originating from a goldsmith shop on the ground floor at about 5.15pm.
Sharmila, a technology journalist, said she later saw two men – who look to be in their 30s to 40s – being handcuffed and led away by police.
It is believed that three other men were shot.
Selangor CPO Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor confirmed the incident.
A Twitter user said there was an exchange of fire between police and unknown person(s). This is what she tweeted at 5.27pm.
Ni pun nak balik, polis bagi warning. Jangan keluar. (Wanted to go home, police warned. Don't go out.)
