Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah is no longer on the board of directors of Bank Negara Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: The former secretary-general of Treasury Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah is no longer on the board of directors of Bank Negara Malaysia with effect from May 14.
The central bank announced on Monday that this was because he had ceased to hold the office of Secretary General to the Treasury from that date.
His appointment as member of the Bank Negara board of directors was by virtue of him holding the office at the Treasury.
