Robbers get away with luxury watches at Brem Mall

KUALA LUMPUR: Two robbers, armed with pistols, escaped with several high-end watches at a watch-cum-jewellery outlet at Brem Mall in Jinjang today.
Sentul police chief Assistant Commissioner R Munusamy said the two men, wearing baseball caps and gloves to conceal their identities, barged straight towards the cashier at 3pm.
"They opened a display case and took some of the watches. They tried to open another case nearby but failed.
"In their haste to escape, one of them left his gun on the display case," he said, adding that the robbers fled via a staircase at the back of the mall.
It is learned that the duo sped off in a Mercedes E250 waiting for them behind the mall.
Munusamy said police are still estimating the losses incurred by the shop.
