For those who enjoy watching live bands at lounges, It's very hard to find a good spot now days.
However the Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur has always managed to get some good bands to perform at their Kencana Lounge. It is a four star hotel, so don't expect the finishings of Mandarin Oriental or Shangri La Hotel but they provide good entertainment and tasty food in a warm ambiance.
The Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur used to be the legendary Ming Court Hotel.
D' Final Touch Band performs every day except Mondays at the Kencana Lounge. The band is pretty good and quite versatile. While having their own repertoire they try their best to accommodate as many guest request as they can. From the New Hits by Adele and Rihanna to oldies by CCR they managed to give a very decent performance while we were there. I can assure you that you will be entertained.
Adi, the male keyboardist voice is simply awesome. Now for those who know me , they know I very rarely compliment guys. This guys voice will certainly make him lot of female fans while he is at Corus, not to mention he is young and good looking. Oops....yes i said it! Mei, KC and Aya make up the rest of the band

At Corus you have a pretty decent size dance floor so that guest can dance. In fact it is one of the few hotels with a decent size dance floor. This has made Corus the place of choice for most of the guest who like to do the Poco- Poco especially on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a regular Poco Poco Group that is usually there on those days.
Corus Hotel is one of few lounges that allows guest to jam with the band if your are fairly good enough you can be rest assured of frequent stage time. Now if you are not that good please refrain from going up the stage, go to a a karaoke and sing. In the past there were some guest who thought they were so good and wanted to get on stage several times but they were horrible. I am sorry i don't believe in giving people who cant sing "Stage Time" as the rest of us are paying customers who wanna have a good time and be entertained.]

When you are at Kencana Lounge you can order snacks and other food items. I highly recommend the Kencana Rolls, Chicken Wings, Mee Hoon Goreng, The Kuey Teow and their Hainanese Chicken Rice is also very popular.
You can even order Salmon and Sushi from their award winning Japanese restaurant to be served to you at the Lounge.

The band starts at 845pm and ends at 12.45pm on Sundays, Tuesdays to Thursdays. On Friday and Saturdays they end at 1.45pm. The band started in April and will be performing for the next 3 months.
