After the recent Bersih 4.0 rally, its chairman, Maria Chin Abdullah claimed: “This is what we want. Because all rallies organised by Bersih have been peaceful,” at the end of the rally.
Despite the rally ending peacefully, void of any violence, there were some provocative acts displayed by participants especially with an image that went viral.
The image that showed protestors stomping on a picture of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, became widely criticised and is currently under investigation.
While PAS members have vocally urged the organisers to apologise over the extremely insulting and dirty act, another image has emerged on social media of a little girl at the Bersih 4.0 rally, holding up a crude handwritten sign.
The Chinese tot is innocently pictured carried over an adult’s shoulder, holding up a sign written in capital letters which read: “My mom & dad don’t need sex coz my government f***ed my mom & dad everday!!!”
Little is known of where the source of the picture came from but it has been circulated over Twitter with social media users condemning the parents of the child who wrote the uncouth sign.
