Johor Sultan and Najib meet for an hour

JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar met with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at Istana Bukit Serene for an hour on Sunday.
Najib was in Johor to view developments taking place in the state including having an audience with the Johor Ruler.
The Sultan and Najib later had lunch at Danga Bay to view the development projects along the Johor Baru Coastline, especially those by China developer Country Garden.
This is the first time Najib has met the Sultan after Pagoh MP Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was dropped as Deputy Prime Minister in a Cabinet reshuffle in July.
Najib is expected to attend an Umno event in Muar later
