PETALING JAYA: A viral picture of a young woman wearing a Bersih 4.0 T-shirt has got the rally's organisers seeing red.
While the picture has got many talking about the already much-discussed rally, Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah said that people should focus on the bigger picture.
"People put up many things on social media. It should not distract us from the national issues at stake here.
"This picture is not from us and has been circulated to belittle us," she said when contacted on Tuesday.
The picture, had been making its rounds on social media for at least two days and was picked up by the rally's detractors.
Gerakan national youth chief Tan Keng Liang tweeted the photo and said; "There are various methods being used by those to attract people to the Bersih rally. This is their latest tactic. Don't be easily fooled."
