PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Thursday called on an ailing friend, Datuk Azmir Nawawi, who suffered a heart attack and stroke nine years ago.
Najib presented a wheelchair and goodies and a personal contribution for Hari Raya to Azmir, 61, at the latter's home in Precinct 18 here.
He chatted with Azmir, who is a former information chief of Federal Territory Umno Youth.
The prime minister also advised Azmir’s three children to take good care of their father.
Najib’s presence brought cheer to Azmir and his wife, Rahimah Baharin, 58, and the family. – Bernama
