IGP cautions public over Sarawak Report article

PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has cautioned the public over an article by Sarawak Report.
“Reports like this, which do not originate from a verified source, will only confuse the public. @PDRMsia calls for a stop to the spreading of such rumours,” he said in a tweet on Thursday, sharing a screenshot of an article by Sarawak Report, “Arrest warrant for the Prime Minister”.
The website alleged in its latest report that Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail was sacked as Attorney-General on Tuesday because he wanted to take action against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Last week, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission had blocked Sarawak Report website.
