Taking to Twitter, the billionaire airline boss said it is unacceptable that they have to constantly pursue MAHB to sort out “something that should never have happened”.
Fernandes posted a picture of an AirAsia plane — ostensibly parked on the apron of KLIA2 — with the wheels of its front landing gear twisted to the side.
“Is this to be expected?8 hour delay due to plane slipping of chocks . The board has to take responsibility,” he said in the tweet.

Earlier today, AirAsia Bhd chief executive Aireen Omar was quoted by business wire Bloomberg as claiming that KLIA2 was “still sinking”.
While acknowledging that take-offs and landings are not affected, Aireen stressed that the situation increases wear and tear on their planes and pose potential safety risks.
She said MAHB “has done some partial resurfacing, but what the airport actually needs is a permanent solution”.
Late last year, MAHB reportedly said that water “ponding” at the apron of the RM4 billion KLIA2 was due to differential settlement and “was expected”.
MAHB chief executive Datuk Badlisham Ghazali later announced that repair work on KLIA2’s taxiways and apron would be completed by the first quarter of 2016.
