Purported clip of racing Myvis surfaces on social media

PETALING JAYA: A close circuit television (CCTV) recording of what appears to be a group of Perodua Myvis driven at high speed before Saturday's fatal accident has now surfaced on social media.
The clip, which was believed to be from a tollbooth near the crash site at the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), showed the victims' Mitsubishi Pajero Sport driving past mere seconds before the Myvis.
A Myvi was also seen tailgating what appeared to be a Toyota Alphard, followed by six other Myvis that were speeding on the expressway.
On early Saturday morning, a family of three, including a seven-month-old baby was killed when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned after speeding Myvis rammed it.
Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 27 and their daughter Nur Firuza Annisa were all thrown from their vehicle as it spun on the highway.
Photos of the fatal accident have since gone viral on the social media, sparking immediate outrage from the public who called for swift action from the police to apprehend the culprits.
On Sunday, the police arrested a 35-year-old woman who is believed to have been driving the Myvi that crashed into the four-wheel drive.
Police are now on the hunt for the driver of another Myvi, who eyewitnesses said was racing with four others, during the 1.05am incident.
Fairuz and Nova left behind two other daughters, both aged 7 and 3.
