Skeletal remains found in septic tank of Bukit Damansara bungalow

KUALA LUMPUR: The skeletal remains of a woman was found submerged in human faeces inside the septic tank of an incomplete bungalow in Bukit Damansara.
Police said they were notified of the gruesome find at about 6.30pm Thursday, and are still working on extracating the remains from the tank of the bungalow which is under renovation in the affluent neighbourhood.
Jalan Travers police station officer-in-charge Chief Insp Edmond Wong said that the bungalow also served as the quarters for the workers renovating it.
It is believed the woman was an Indonesian and had been dead for over three-months.
"We are working on getting the skeleton out slowly as the smell is really unbearable," he said. "We can see bones floating around but not the whole body."
Police and Fire and Rescue Department officers can be heard drilling away inside the bungalow along Jalan Setia Murni 11 as of 10.30pm Thursday.
Ever so often, masked officers had to exit the compound to catch a breath and to wash themselves.
Police were also seen leading away eight foreign men in handcuffs. The men are said to be the occupants of the quarters within the bungalow.
Chief Insp Wong said police were investigating the case as a murder and believe that the main culprit has yet to be caught.
The remains are expected to be taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem.
