PETALING JAYA: A 26-year-old woman has alleged that she was slapped by a taxi driver, in the second case of road bullying reported in the Klang Valley this week.
According to her report lodged at the Dang Wangi police station, the woman said the incident occurred when she was driving from Bandar Menjalara to Jalan Raja Chulan through Jalan Angsoka at 7.40am Monday.
She said two cars were parked on the both sides of the road and when she drove ahead, a taxi suddenly came in front of her.
The taxi driver honked at her and when she refused to move her vehicle, he allegedly rammed her car. The taxi driver then came out of his vehicle and slapped her.
"He slapped my left and right cheek. I tried to fight back but I couldn't because he was a man. I suffered injuries to my left and right cheeks due to being slapped and pinched," she said in the report.
Her car was damaged on the front bonnet and bumper.
This is the second road-bullying incident reported this week. On Monday, images of a road bully spitting on the windscreen of a woman's car and damaging her wiper went viral on social media.
The 58-year-old man has since been arrested. The case is being investigated under Sections 427 and 506 of the Penal Code for committing mischief, damage and criminal intimidation.
