6 Year Old Boy Rapes 5 Year Old Cousin While Playing "Mommy & Daddy"

Boy, six, accused of rape

MALACCA: A six-year-old boy allegedly raped his five-year-old cousin while playing “mummy and daddy” at her home in Pendang, Kedah.
The children were found naked in the house at about 2pm on Dec 29 by their 57-year-old grandmother.
The girl’s 32-year old mother, a medical assistant, lodged a report on New Year’s Day but she told police the next day that she was not keen to pursue the case and only did it to enable a medical check to be carried out.
The doctor who examined the girl and found a minor tear in the hymen alerted the Malacca Action Group for Parents in Education (Magpie) here.
Magpie chairman Mak Chee Hin said although he was initially sceptical about the report, checks confirmed that it was true.
He said the non-governmental organisation had been alerted of such cases in the past, including one involving a 11-year-old boy who allegedly raped a six-year-old girl at a babysitter’s home in Alor Gajah in Nov 7.
“People are concerned over what is happening to the country’s moral values and it is shocking that young children are capable of such acts.
“Blame should be levelled at the adults who do not give guidance and care to the children,” he said.
Mak said the full medical report on the Kedah case would determine whether the six-year-old boy is the youngest sexual predator in the country.
“We are really appalled by the case, especially when it occurred less than two months after the Alor Gajah case,” he added.
A consultant urologist at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital said it was possible for a six-year-old boy to have penile erection.
The doctor who declined to be named, said such occurrences were more common among Caucasian children.
He said sexual development began from a child’s very first year, adding that some baby boys were even born with erections.
“In Western countries, medical reports suggest that young boys and girls can experience orgasm although boys will not be able to ejaculate until puberty.
“For Asian children, it is very rare, although there have been rare cases that are mostly attributed to surroundings and upbringing,” he added.
The urologist said the Kedah case could have happened due to exposure to pornographic materials.
“Even if the child had an erection, it would have only lasted for a while and not to the extent of penetration.
In this case, it could be due to witnessing an adult performing an intimate act or watching pornographic videos,” he added.
