Pork-free Feast at Tai Zi HeenChef Michael Wong has rustled up three set menus – Spring & Happiness, Everlasting Prosperity and Wealth and Fortune priced from RM1288 to RM1988 per table of 10 persons. Among the choice specialities that await will be roast chicken with crispy garlic and five-spice salt, pan-fried jumbo tiger prawns with chef’s signature sauce, Hong Kong-style steamed grouper with superior sauce and double-boiled chicken with whole abalone, dried scallop and bamboo pith.
Six varieties of yee sang and a la carte Chinese New Year selection will also be served. Double-boiled fish maw with chicken and dried scallop in superior broth, crispy prawns with lemon dressing, tropical fruit salsa and tobiko, and tea-smoked duck with spicy mango chutney will be among the tempting creations available from 9 January till 14 February.

Only early bird diners at Extra Super Tanker will get to enjoy poon choy – a pot of braised premium ingredients such as abalone, dried scallops, sea cucumber, prawns, dried oysters, black seamoss, deer tendons and roast duck among others. Priced at RM688 for 10 persons, only five servings are prepared fresh daily throughout the Chinese New Year period.
