Five former ministers make a comeback in the Cabinet reshuffle announced by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim

 



Five former ministers make a comeback in the Cabinet reshuffle announced by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, today.


UMNO Vice President, Datuk Seri Johari Ghani, who was also the former Second Minister of Finance in the Barisan Nasional (BN) Government Cabinet between 2016 and 2018, was appointed to head the new portfolio, the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities.


AMANAH Strategy Director, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, who was also the former Minister of Health during the Pakatan Harapan Government administration in 2018-2019, returned to the same position.


DAP Vice President Gobind Singh Deo, who was also the former Minister of Communications and Multimedia under the Pakatan Harapan Government in 2018-2019, was appointed as the Minister of Digital, which is a new ministry created from the division of the Ministry of Communications and Digital.



UMNO Women's Leader, Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad, who is also the former Minister of Higher Education during the administration of the National Alliance Government, was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.


DAP Vice-Chairman, M Kulasegaran, who was also the former Minister of Human Resources during the Pakatan Harapan administration, was again appointed as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Legal and Institutional Reform)
