Noraini appointed as the new Chairman of Risda.
SEBERANG PERAI – Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi confirmed the appointment of Parit Sulong Member of Parliament, Datuk Noraini Ahmad as the new Chairman of the Rubber Industry Smallholder Development Authority (Risda).
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister also defended the appointment of Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki as the current Chairman of MARA
"Ashraf (Wajdi) is a 'banker' and he is an expert in (the field of) Islamic banking. That was his profession before jumping into politics.
