ANWAR ARRIVES IN HAINAN TO JOIN BFA 2023
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was greeted by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir when he arrived at Boao International Airport to attend the "Boao Forum For Asia" here today. The Prime Minister is scheduled to give a speech at the forum that takes place March 28-31 this Thursday.

HAINAN (China), March 29 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived here today to attend the Boao Forum for the Annual Conference of Asia (BFA 2023) as part of his four-day official visit to China.
The special plane that brought him landed at Boao International Airport at 5.29pm (local time is the same as Malaysia time).
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming on this visit.
Upon arrival, Anwar was greeted by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Vice Governor of Hainan Chen Huaiyu, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Datuk Amran Mohamed Zin, Malaysian Ambassador to China Raja Datuk Nushirwan Zainal Abidin and Malaysian Consulate General in Guangzhou Suraya Ahmad Pauzi.
Anwar is scheduled to attend an Iftar ceremony together with about 70 members of the Malaysian delegation who are participating in BFA 2023 at the Boao Golden Coast Hotel before attending a joint meeting with the top leadership of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC).
Tomorrow the Prime Minister is expected to attend a bilateral meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong before delivering a speech at BFA 2023.
He is expected to leave for Beijing in the afternoon to continue the visit.
