106 arrested over Seafield temple fracas, says IGP

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 106 men have been detained in connection with the fracas at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in USJ 25, says Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said the number of arrests were tallied as of 8am Saturday (Dec 8).
"Out of the 66 witnesses sought to assist investigation, seven of them have come forward.
"We are investigating the case from all angles," he told a press conference after launching the mass circumcision event at Bukit Aman Mosque on Saturday.
Muhammad Adib was seriously injured in the incident and reported to be still in a critical but stable condition.
The riots which took place on Nov 26 and 27 following disagreements over the relocation of the temple to a new site had resulted in several people being injured as well as vehicle and property damage.
