PUTRAJAYA: Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad has reported back to the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) on Tuesday (May 15).

Dzulkifli arrived at 8.05 am at the AGC office here in Presint 4 in a Proton Perdana and waited a few minutes in the car before exiting.

Dressed in a black suit, Dzulkifli just smiled and waved at the media waiting for him before walking into the lobby and registered at the counter.

On Monday, Dzulkifli said he had sent a letter to end his contract as the MACC chief to the Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.
He was previously the head of the National Revenue Recovery Enforcement team at the AGC.

Dzulkifli was appointed as MACC chief commissioner on Aug 1, 2016, replacing Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed who helmed the post from Jan 1, 2010 until July 31, 2016.
