PETALING JAYA: There are a few fake versions of the Auditor-General’s Department report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) that are being spread around on social media.

In a statement Thursday, the department said that these fake versions comprised 68 or 386 pages and come without a front page.

It added that only the executive summary of the report has been uploaded onto its portal and Facebook page.

The audit report on 1MDB was officially declassified on Tuesday (May 15).
