KUALA LUMPUR: The price of diesel will increase by 10 sen to RM1.70 per litre effective midnight.

For RON95 and RON97 petrol, the prices will remain the same for August, with RM1.75 for the former and RM2.10 for the latter.

According to Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak, the price of RON100 which is available at Petron stations will also remain at RM2.70.

The government had implemented a managed float system to determine the price of RON95, RON97 petrol and diesel from Dec 1 last year.
