SUBANG JAYA: The missing 12-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by an Indonesian woman has been found.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the girl was found with the help of the Al Rahman mosque congregation in Jalan Pantai Baharu, Kuala Lumpur.
"The suspect has also been detained," he said in a WhatsApp message, adding that more details would be furnished soon.
The case was brought to the attention of the media after a Facebook user Farah Nilofer Jamaludin posted pictures of the girl, known as Puteri Nurkyra Izam Abdullah, and the woman on the site.
According to her post, the girl’s parents noticed that their daughter and woman were missing from their SS19 house at around 5.30am on Tuesday.
The case has been classified as abduction.
