Canadian Tennis champion Eugenie Bouchard has been named the world's most marketable athlete, beating out a slew of her big-earning male contemporaries.
The 21-year-old is the first female to ever top the annual list by British magazine SportsPro, pushing past the likes of Brazilian footballer Neymar, pro-golfer Jordan Spieth, Five-time Olympic swimming medalist Missy Franklin and F1 racer Lewis Hamilton.
Neymar, 23, came in second place while Spieth, 21, the surprise Masters champion, came in third
It's a grand slam for Bouchard, considering the young star placed 13th on the same list last year, then-lead by Hamilton.
While her breakout year - making the semi-finals of the Australian and French Opens and the finals at Wimbledon - clearly bolstered her position, Bouchard's big drawcard is also her strong social media presence, according to experts.

SportsPro ranks athletes based on a variety of means, including age, value, charisma and sponsorship deals both inside and outside their country.
The rankings are meant to reflect potential over the next three years and not just their current worth.
Bouchard has dropped six of her last seven matches, which SportsPro acknowledges.
'Eugenie Bouchard showed in 2014 that she is an athlete of tremendous potential who is able to make a real connection with her fans,' editor Eoin Connolly told CTV News Montreal.
'The last few months have not gone as she might have hoped but we think her achievements so far are those of a player of substance who will make her mark at the top end of women's tennis over the next three years.
Editorial director James Emmett said Bouchard has what it takes to 'succeed Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams as the face of the most commercially successful women's sport on the planet'.
SportPro also noted that Bouchard uses her Twitter and Instagram accounts to successful show 'what life as a young professional athlete looks like'.

Simon Chadwick, Professor of Sport Business Strategy at Coventry University, told CNN that outside, outside of Tennis, this should be seen as one of Bouchard's main talents.
'Being active, communicating something relevant and actively engaging with followers has brought a particular vibrancy to brands like hers,' he told the network.
'And so, at least for the next 12 months, Bouchard sits at the top of the pile with her combination of success, off-court activity and representation.'
Bouchard is yet to win a Grand Slam title, but is already considered one of the best women's tennis players in the world.
'At 21 and, for now at least, inside the world’s top ten, the gregarious girl from Montreal embodies everything the tour has become; a glamorous, global and staunchly driven reminder of why the WTA, an organisation built on gender equality and enhancing opportunities for women, exists in the first place,' SportsPro said in a news release.
Rounding out the top 10 on the list were Indian cricket player Virat Kohli, basketball star Stephen Curry, Japanese tennis pro Kei Nishikori, British heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson and the incomparable Usain Bolt.
Social media siren: Bouchard's placement was strongly bolstered by her activeness on Twitter and Instagram, according to experts
