While the Kedah Exco line-up is unchanged, there will be a reshuffling in the portfolios held by the exco members.

New Kedah exco line-up sworn in

 

ALOR SETAR: The new Kedah state executive council line-up under the leadership of Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah was sworn in before the state Regency Council on Monday.

Nine assemblymen were sworn in to the state executive council at 10.30am.

The nine are the same executive councillors who resigned on Feb 3 after Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir lost the confidence of the majority of state assemblymen.

The list includes Datuk Norsabrina Mohd Noor, Datuk Suraya Yaacob and Datuk Aminuddin Omar who stood by Mukhriz.

The remaining members are Datuk Dr Leong Yong Kong, Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain, Datuk Dr Ku Abd Rahman Ku Ismail, Datuk Mohd Rawi Abd Hamid, Datuk Badrol Hisham Hashim and Datuk Tajuddin Abdullah.

It is understood that while the line-up is unchanged, there will be a reshuffling in the portfolios held by the exco members.
