KUALA LUMPUR: A Bangladeshi man was beaten to a pulp by members of the public, who had accused him of raping a 13-year-old girl inside a toilet at the Rampai Business Park, here last night.
It was learnt that the girl had accompanied her father to a cybercafe there at 10.30pm.
The 30-year-old foreigner, it was claimed, had enticed the girl into following him into the toilet.

It was claimed that the man then proceeded to molest the girl and forced himself on her.
However, a member of the public saw what happened and banged on the toilet door until the foreigner opened it.
Patrons of the cybercafe then proceeded to beat up the man.
City Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said police were alerted of the incident at 11pm and dispatched team from the Wangsa Maju police station.
"There, they arrested the suspect and called for assistance from Civil Defence Department's medical team," he said.
The Bangladeshi, who did not have any identification documents on him, sustained severe injuries to his head and thigh.
Zainuddin said the foreigner is being remanded until Feb 25 to facilitate investigation under Section 376 and 354 of the Penal Code for rape and assault with intent to outrage the modesty of a woman.

This is third case this month of a foreign man being beaten up by members of the public for committing a lewd act or sexually assaulting local women.
Early this month, a video of blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris slapping and kicking a foreign worker went viral. It was alleged that the foreigner, believed to be a Pakistani, had made sexual advances towards Azri's two sisters and their two friends, leading to the showdown between the blogger and the man.
On Tuesday, a street musician beat up a Nepalese man in front of the Sogo shopping complex after the latter allegedly hugged and groped the former’s wife.
