Guard gunned down at petrol station

PETALING JAYA: A man died while another is in a coma after they were shot by an unidentified gunman near a petrol station at Jalan Semenyih in Kajang.
The assailant was on a motorcycle when he approached the men and opened fire at them by the roadside opposite the petrol station around 4.40am yesterday.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Willey Richard said M. Thomas, 45, (pic) was found dead while the other victim, 26, was rushed to the Kajang hospital for treatment.
“The elder man was a security guard while the other is a lorry driver,” he said.
He said several bullet casings were found at the scene.
“We have yet to determine the motive behind the murder but we are working on all angles,” he said.
The deceased’s body has been sent for a post-mortem at the Serdang hospital while the second victim is still in a coma at the Kajang hospital
