- Cops nab boy, 13, over threat to expose masturbating girl
PETALING JAYA, July 7 — A 13-year-old boy from a school in Sepang was picked up yesterday for allegedly threatening to circulate a photo and video of a naked girl masturbating.
The girl, who is also aged 13, became friends with the boy on WeChat messenger in March.
Their friendship blossomed for two months until the boy started demanding a naked photo and sexual act video from her.
Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Azmi Abu Kassim said the girl gave in to the demands in May and June after being harassed.
However, the girl stopped chatting with the boy after that. This angered him and he threatened to circulate the video.
“In the first incident, he demanded that she send him a photo revealing parts of her breasts. A month later he demanded a video of her masturbating,” Azmi said.
Afraid that he would carry out his threat, the girl lodged a police report yesterday, and police arrested the boy several hours later.
Police will also investigate if there were more victims linked to the boy.
The suspect’s handphone, laptop, two t-shirts, a pair of shorts and a phone bill were seized.
The suspect will be remanded until tomorrow to facilitate investigations for criminal intimidation.
