KUALA LUMPUR: A woman, believed to be Aidana Baizieva's sister, has arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital’s mortuary to assist with investigations.
She arrived at the morgue at about 10.45am, Monday, with a Kyrgyzstan Embassy official.
The woman refused to speak to reporters, who were barred from entering the premises.
Earlier, a Kyrgyzstan Embassy spokesman confirmed that Aidana was a Kyrgyzstani national and had been working in Malaysia for a while.
“Records showed that she had been in Malaysia for at least a year,” she said, declining to reveal more.
Baizieva died in the helicopter crash in Semenyih on Saturday which claimed the life of Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis.
She was earlier reported to be the chopper’s co-pilot but later confirmed to be an employee of Cempaka Aviation.
