Kiki gets 240 hours community service, fined RM5,000


KUANTAN: "Kiki" the wedding planner, who gained notoriety for damaging a man's car with a steering lock on July 14, was ordered to undergo 240 hours of community service and fined RM5,000 by the Sessions Court here today.
Siti Fairrah Asyikin Kamaruddin from Felda Lepar here pleaded guilty to intentionally causing damages to a Toyota Corolla belonging to Sim Siak Hong by hitting the roof, front bonnet and front mirror with a steering lock.
She committed the offence in front of the Urban Transformation Centre here about 1.10pm.
Before delivering his judgment, Judge Datuk Zainal Abidin Kamaruddin advised Siti Fairrah to be more patient and learn to contain her temper as her actions after the minor accident had made her suffer severe consequences.
He said Siti Fairrah should behave like a lady and not a road bully.

The judge also said she was lucky that Sim did not demand for compensation for the damages on his car.
Siti, who was represented by counsel Rosli Yusof, said she became too emotional after the incident and did not think about the consequences of her actions.
"I regret my actions and had even apologised to uncle Sim. I was also left traumatised by the incident as people started to follow me to my house and hurl me with abusive remarks," she said in tears.
She was charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum of two years jail or fine or both.
