LONDON: The King of Britain, King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer and will suspend some of his public duties while undergoing treatment.
The matter was announced by Buckingham Palace in a statement on Monday.
However, Buckingham Palace did not disclose the type of cancer the 75-year-old monarch was suffering from.
The palace also insisted that it was not prostate cancer, although the king had received prostate-related treatment recently.
A few weeks earlier, he was hospitalized for three days to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
This was announced a week after King Charles was discharged from a private London clinic following a medical procedure.
