Faisal Halim wins the best goal award of the Asian Cup

Sensational national winger Faisal Halim won the best goal award at the Qatar Asian Cup when he was far ahead of the rest of the competition after voting closed early on Monday morning.
Previously, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) listed Faisal's goal during the final Group E match against South Korea at the AlJanoub Stadium along with seven other goals to be voted as the best goal of the highest Asian football tournament.
Faisal obtained 85 percent of the votes, leaving Jordanian player Mousa Al Tamari who collected only nine percent of the vote, South Korean player Son Heung-min (three percent), Supachok Sarachat from Thailand (one percent) and Sardar Azmoun from Iran (one percent ).
Three more goals from Japanese players, Keito Nakamura, Hassan Al Haydous (Qatar) and Abdulrahman Ghareeb (Saudi Arabia) did not receive any votes.
Faisal created a sensation with his exciting goal when he managed to 'deceive' the Korean defense and goalkeeper including the player who played with Bayern Munich, Kim Min-jae before scoring a goal.
AFC previously also assessed the goal from Faisal as a miracle that happened on the Asian Cup stage
