Kaka Azraff's contract ends due to use of abusive language - Warner Music

PETALING JAYA – Following the termination of singer Kaka Azraff's contract with recording company Warner Music Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. recently, the international label finally issued a statement in the form of a reason for the female singer's contract to be terminated.
Through a media statement released, Warner Music acknowledged that Kaka is a talented singer, but had to terminate her contract due to the language used when she left comments against Australian pro-Israel influencer and actor, Nathaniel Buzolic, a few weeks ago.
"Kaka Azraff is a very talented artist, but unfortunately we had to part ways (terminate the contract) with her due to the use of certain (abusive) language in a messages posted online," the statement read.
At the same time, Warner Music insisted that they firmly fight for the right to freedom of expression, but will take strict action against their artists who act in an inappropriate manner.
"Although we firmly fight for the right of freedom of expression by our artists, but anyone who acts in such a way (using abusive words), regardless of race or religion, we will also make the same decision," explained a representative from Warner Music.
Earlier, the contract of singer Kaka or her full name Nor Atiqa Azraff, 34, had to be terminated by the recording company Warner Music Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. after speaking out about Zionist atrocities in Palestine.
This was proven when a copy of a viral letter emerged Warner Music Malaysia informing of terminating Kaka's contract with effect from December 31.
According to the contract, Kaka still has to fulfill every artistic activity arranged by Warner even after her contract is terminated.
It is understood that the matter was sparked following the singer's actions by leaving a comment criticizing pro-Israel Australian influencer and actor, Nathaniel Buzolic, a few weeks ago.
"Because Israel is the one who started (the war). Israel stole their land and now act like they are the victims?
"Sick person. Hitler should have killed all Israel!” write Kaka.
On October 13, the parent company, Warner Music Group, uploaded an Instagram post expressing their support for Israel and describing Hamas as terrorists.
