JOHOR BAHRU: Malaysian United Democratic Alliance Party (Muda) Information Chief Luqman Long today apologised for a controversial poster issued last night.
In a statement, Luqman said he was aware the poster had caused misunderstandings and did not adhere to clear principles within the party.
"So, I take full responsibility for this incident.
Yesterday, a poster by The Kedah MUDA Information, which showed the characters of four individuals wearing shirts with the official colours of political parties – Barisan Nasional, Pakatan Harapan, PKR and Perikatan Nasional.
The four characters are photographed next to each other, with each stretching objects depicting corrupt activity to each other, namely money and contracts.
Also inscribed is a message that reads – "Stop corruption, vote and change perception".
The sharing of the posters, according to some members of political parties, is a form of provocation that should not have happened, let alone after the two component parties of the PH -PKR DAP and AMANAH, have given six Johor state assembly seats for Muda to contest
"I therefore apologize for this unfortunate incident and am ready to take responsibility as the Young Information Chief with any disciplinary decisions and actions from Muda Nasional," he added.
