The Health Ministry announced 3,989 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 244,676.
According to data released by the ministry on Sunday, 105 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 9,553.
The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 177,327. The capital city recorded 1,138 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 61,966.
Meanwhile, West Java reported 427 new cases, East Java 336, Central Java 303, Riau 298 and Banten 179. The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt)
