Robbers attack two women at 24-hour laundromat in Bandar Sri Damansara

PETALING JAYA: Two women were robbed by two masked men at a 24-hour laundromat in Bandar Sri Damansara.
The 33-year-old graphic artist and her friend were waiting for their clothing to be washed at about midnight on Friday (Dec 27) when the assailants barged into the premises armed with wooden sticks.
The suspects then grabbed handbags belonging to the victim and her friend before escaping the scene by stealing the victim's yellow Perodua Myvi.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said police have checked CCTV footage from the outlet.
"We are investigating in an attempt to identify the suspects. Among other items stolen were personal identification documents, six mobile phones, house keys, and RM200 in cash," he said.
He urged anyone with information to contact the nearest police station as soon as possible.
A video of the robbery has also been circulated on social media.
