    KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has achieved another crowd pleaser as their latest Pengacau Raya Cina video – featuring Aloysius and Zaitun of Pengacau Raya fame, has gone viral.
    To date, the video has raked in close to 2 million views on various platforms with more than 36,000 shares on Facebook alone.
    Netizens have praised the message of the video, endorsing the message of respect for all cultures and tolerance for the wide variety of personalities we encounter in our lives, as seen in their Facebook comments.
    In the new video, the happy couple is celebrating Chinese New Year as a multi-cultural family in Zaitun’s hometown, as they await their first bundle of joy.
    The video also features both sets of parents, with their fathers stealing the show. The video showcases how the two fathers – the stern Colonel Bakar and jolly meddler Cornelius, who are initially at odds, end up as good friends. 
    “Last year’s Pengacau Raya campaign was a huge success - and one of the most viewed Raya ads of the year.
    We wanted to continue that story during the Chinese New Year festive season and it is clear that Malaysians love the story of Aloy and Zaitun. This heartwarming mini-movie celebrates the beauty of multiculturalism here in Malaysia, and reflects BSN’s respect for diversity,” said Puspa Marina Datuk Haji Omar, Senior Vice-President / Head, Strategic Communications, Bank Simpanan Nasional.
    The hit sequel looks to outdo the popular Pengacau Raya video created for Hari Raya Aidilfitri last year, which first introduced the endearing characters and storyline. That video recorded nearly 2 million views and 60,000 shares.
    The Pengacau Raya campaign was recognised at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2015 with a silver in the Excellence in TV/Video Advertising category and a bronze in the Excellence in Content Marketing category.
