PETALING JAYA: A policeman has been arrested for allegedly stealing RM 620,000 from a money changer’s employee in Bangsar..
The employee and a driver were reportedly on their way from Kuala Lumpur to send the money to another branch in Selangor when they were intercepted by a police car at about 11am Wednesday.
The duo, who were travelling on a Honda HR-V, were stopped by two policemen near Jalan Maarof in Bangsar.
The policemen, who were in full uniform, reportedly seized the stash of money from the employee on the grounds that it looked suspicious.

They lodged a police report immediately.
