Man’s body found in ditch along DUKE highway











KUALA LUMPUR: A man who was reported missing since Thursday was found dead in a ditch on Kilometre 0.1 DUKE highway, from Ampang to the Sentul Toll, at 11am Sunday.


Sentul district police chief, ACP Munusamy, said the victim Danish Millan Sarath, 30, was found by the highway patrol.


Initial investigation showed that the victim worked at a firm in Hartamas, here, and is believed to have died over the past two days.


"Found on the body was an Esprit brand watch, a door access card and the left shoe of the victim."There is a 'kongsi' quarters in front of the ditch where Indonesian permanent residents are staying," he said when contacted today.


Munusamy said the victim's last known address was Desa View Tower Condo, Melawati, and that he leaves behind two children.


The body has been sent to the Forensic Department of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. The case has been classified as sudden death pending the post mortem report, he said. - Bernama
