KUALA LUMPUR: A Magistrate's court has fixed Aug 27 for re-mention and submission of documents in the case of a former Sabah model who is accused of stripping at Petaling Street.
According to the hospital's psychiatric evaluation, which was read out in court, Persana Avril Sollunda, 32, was "unsound" at the time of the April 23 incident during which she removed her bra and top after failing to pay an RM18 bill at a chicken rice shop.
However, she has been deemed stable and fit to stand trial at this juncture.
The trial is slated to take place from Jan 11-13.
Persana appeared calm in court and sported a black leather jacket over a brown-orange top with black jeans and high-heeled boots.
She was accompanied by her brother, Peter Alvin.
After leaving the courtroom, Persana was heard telling her lawyer Kevin Tan "I want to call my mother".
She had no further comment and referred further questions to Tan, who said they will just proceed with the trial without any applications.
However, she later said "I'm okay... By the way, I'm also a fan of Prince Harry."
The former model and spa worker had made an earlier not guilty plea on April 28 to a charge under Section 294 of the Penal Code of committing an obscene act in public after a video of her removing her top and bra went viral on social media.
On May 29, Magistrate Nur A'minahul Mardiah Md Nor had ordered Sollunda, 32, to be warded at the Taman Bahagia hospital under section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code for a month-long psychiatric evaluation.
