PETALING JAYA: The Crown Prince of Johor has advised the people not to fall victim to any trickery either side of the political divide.
Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim said people must be wise in discerning and making the right decisions.
“Political language was designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable,” he said in a post on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page Tuesday.
He said the purpose of his statements and quotes on the page was not to create tension but to educate Johoreans on political trickery.
He said the most dangerous and frightening thing was when men turned deceitful to for power and personal gain.
“The people must be wise to analyse it. Johor must not be caught in the political games and mess,” he said.
He added that his responsibility was to ensure the sovereignty of the state, and that Johoreans were not manipulated by the political interests and ambitions of others.
