KUCHING: A jet carrying Sarawak Governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud collided with a MASWings plane after touching down at Mukah Airport on Wednesday.
Mukah police chief DSP Jimmy Panyau said the left wing of the jet hit the front of the MASWings plane.
“The jet had just landed and was going to park near the terminal when it hit the parked MASWings plane," he said when contacted.
The nose of the MASWings plane was dented slightly while the light on the jet’s left wingtip was damaged.
No one was injured in the 4.42pm incident.
Taib had gone to Mukah to attend a buka puasa event.
