Selangor MB crisis: Khalid sends termination letters to five exco members

PETALING JAYA: The Selangor Mentri Besar's office sent letters of termination to five executive councillors from PKR and DAP late Tuesday.
Sources said the exco members are Dr Daroyah Alwi and Elizabeth Wong from PKR and Datuk Teng Chang Khim, V. Ganabatirau and Ean Yong Hian Wah from the DAP.
It is learnt that the letters were sent out following the consent of the Selangor Sultan after Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim wrote requesting for the sacking of the exco members.
Khalid, however, said he has yet to request for the sacking of welfare and women's issues exco Rodziah Ismail because she was not in the country.
