Bastia lost 2-0 to PSG on Saturday, but the Ligue 1 champions did not come away from the match in good shape. Zlatan Ibrahimovic had to be subbed off in the 16th minute with a hip injury and after the final whistle, Thiago Motta was headbutted by Bastia striker Brandao in the tunnel (watch the right side of the video above), leaving him with a bloodied and likely broken nose.
Brandao waited for his fellow Brazilian born footballer before immediately running for the dressing room, presumably to hide under a pile of soiled towels. Motta, meanwhile, was left to angrily pace in the tunnel while his teammates attempted to calm him down.
According to the Associated Press, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi later told BeIn Sport that Brandao "must be banned for life" for his cowardly act.
If Zlatan wasn't injured, this never would have happened.
