Rihanna's ultimate World Cup final experience

By  | Dirty Tackle – 1 hour 21 minutes ago
Rihanna started the World Cup like every other fan: watching on TV and excitedly tweeting nonsense about it. But by the end, she was partying with the victorious German team, violating FIFA's World Cup trophy protocol and living an experience that even other celebrities could only dream of.
This all began with her tweets. In the early stages of the tournament, she made it clear that she had many favorite players and teams, and while some might brand her a bandwagon fan, she was really just doing what we all should have done: appreciate the tournament for the spectacle of sublime football and entertainment that it was. Plus, she's from Barbados, so it's not like her team was even in it.
Despite being an international pop star with an undoubtedly busy schedule, she seemed to watch more of the World Cup than many of the participants, so to see her make the trip to Brazil for the final between Germany and Argentina was no surprise. Nor was the fact that she was supporting Germany, as she expressed her surreal love of Miroslav Klose earlier in the tournament. So when they won 1-0 in extra time, she was very happy about it.

But after the match is when things got out of control. First, she somehow got a hold of Mario Gotze's Man of the Match award.

Then she appeared at Germany's post-match party holding the trophy — which violates FIFA's rule that only World Cup winners and heads of state can touch it — in the middle of a Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger double kiss.

Then there was more of her holding the trophy.

And a shot of her still holding the trophy (it might be legally hers at this point) and standing next to a very confused looking Klose.

At the end of the evening, she helpfully summed up what she had actually just done in real life to make sure everyone knew that her bucket list is filling out nicely.
Finally, to top it off, Podolski thanked her for her support.

And that's how Rihanna won the World Cup.
